Upcoming Club meeting
The last meeting of the semester will be Tuesday, December 6. Students are encouraged to bring any holiday treats they would like to share. Also, painted ornaments can be made during this meeting. Please join us to finish out Fall semester with a bang!

Donut Sale is on now!
Art Club members are selling Krispy Kreme donuts.
Money is due to Ms. Bowen on November 1oth.
No late money will be allowed.
Delivery will be at LCHS during 4th Block on Thursday, November 17th.
Sales money will be used to benefit the ArtsFest 2012 scheduled for April.

Polo Designs needed
The Art Club is preparing to order school-approved polos.
Designs are requested by September 20.
Prepare yours now so that it may be voted on at the next meeting.
The winning design will be embroidered on polos and available for purchase.
Be at the next Art Club meeting to voice your choice.

T-Shirt Designs wanted
Dr. Shields has requested designs for this year's school spirit T-shirt.
The following guidelines may help, if you are interested in entering a design.
Designs are due to Ms. Bowen by Tuesday, Sept 6 at the Art Club meeting.
Intended market: LCHS adults, for dress down days
Colors: 3 or 4, not including the shirt color
Shirt design areas: front only, both front & back, or back only
Prize for chosen design's creator: free shirt with chosen design on
Attributes: between casual & vibrant, between feminine & masculine
Size of design: variable
Use of imagery: NO copyrighted images
Suggested ideas: combinations of school letters, county name, panther image, layered elements,
a slogan, year the school was established
You may want to ask a few teachers what would be appealing to buy and wear.
Be aware that a long weekend is coming up, so time is quickly running out on this opportunity.

Art Club has switched to Tuesdays this semester.
Beginning on August 23rd, Art Club will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 in 604.
